Tamagawa University’s Center for English as a Lingua Franca will host its Research & Faculty Development Workshops on 18 January 2019 (5pm-) and 12 February 2019 (3pm-), cosponsored by JSPS Kakenhi Grant (No.18H05585) and supported by the JACET ELF SIG. Invited speakers are Dr Fan FANG (Shantou University) and Koun CHOI (University of Cambridge) respectively.
The 8th Waseda ELF International Workshop and Symposium will be held at Waseda University, 27 (Sun.) – 28 (Mon.) January 2019, inviting Univ.-Prof. Barbara Seidlhofer, Hon.-Prof. Henry Widdowson (University of Vienna) and potentially others.
- The 2nd ELF SIG Meeting (AY2018) will be held on 8 December 2018 (2pm-) at Chukyo University, inviting Dr Tomoyuki Kawashima (Gunma University), Dr Ayako Suzuki (Tamagawa University), and Dr Yoko Nogami (Kwansei Gakuin University).
Aichi University’s Institute for Research in Humanities and Social Sciences will host the forum entitled ELFing Up the Classroom: Pedagogy and Materials on Saturday 27 October (1pm–4:30pm).
Tamagawa University’s Center for English as a Lingua Franca (CELF) will host the 2018 CELF-ELTama Forum for English Language Teaching on Thursday 23 August (10am–4pm).
